In 1797 in District Court at Ferryland, a Walter Nash was sued by James Murphy to recover £14-5-6 that Nash owed him. It appears that Walter had come into some money from the sale of his boat to Robert Holdsworth &Co. so in 1797 Murphy decided to sue Walter for the outstanding debt.
