 Abt 1852 - 1913 (~ 61 years)
Generation: 1
| 1. | Patrick Joseph Aspell was born Abt Apr 1852, St. John's, Newfoundland; died 11 Aug 1913, St. John's, Newfoundland; was buried Abt 13 Aug 1913, Mount Carmel Cemetery, St. John's, Newfoundland. Other Events:
- Baptism: 19 Apr 1852, St. John's RC (Basilica) Parish, St. John's, Newfoundland
Notes:
Birth:
At the time of his death, Patrick's age was recorded as 65, indicating he was born about 1846 or 1847. No baptism match was found for a Patrick in these years however, there were two Patricks baptised at St. John's in 1852 to related Aspell families. One was the son of James Aspell and Bridget Bryne and the other Patrick was born four months later to John Aspell and Bridget Maher. No reference have been found to help distinguish this Patrick's origin, so I have selected James Aspell and Bridget Byrne as his probable parents. This may change if any information surfaces to disprove my selection.
Died:
Patrick was living on Battery Rd., St. John's when he died.
Patrick married Margaret Barry 16 Jan 1876, St. John's RC (Basilica) Parish, St. John's, Newfoundland. Margaret was born Jan 1842, Placentia Bay, Newfoundland; died 29 May 1930, St. John's, Newfoundland; was buried 31 May 1930, Mount Carmel Cemetery, St. John's, Newfoundland. [Group Sheet]
