Bridget Tobin married a Power of St. John's. When he died Bridget went away to her sister Lucy (Harris) and left her two sons to be reared by these two families in Cape Broyle. Apparently she took a daughter Susannah with her. In the early days Michael Power was called Michael Power Walsh but eventually the Power surname was dropped.
