IVEY, Irene Lillian (nee Kennedy) - of Markland, age 63. Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, September 27th, 1999, surrounded by her loving husband and children. Predeceased by her mother Lillian, father William and sisters Doris and Rose. A devoted wife and mother has begun the journey to her new life. She will be ever remembered by loving husband Donald (Robie), stepfather to her four daughters: Marilyn Maloney (Brian), Linda McGrath (Eb), Christine Skanes (Art), Jackie Stamp (Gerald); her eight grandchildren: David, Marilyn, Victoria, Gerald Jr., Jonathon, Missy, Justin, Stephanie; three brothers: Reg, Jim, Robert; three sisters: Shirley, Elizabeth, Jean; brothers-in-law Kevin and Bob; sisters-in-law Florence, Shirley. She will be also sadly missed, forever remembered by a circle of relatives and friends. Special Thank You to Rev. s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Wednesday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday; and from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon, Friday. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 1999, from St. Thomas Anglican Church. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Newfoundland Cancer Society.
