Census:
A record in the 1900 US Census shows that Hannah M. Foley of Newfoundland was in Bristol, CT where she was working as a servant for George H. Hall and family, living at 136 North Street. In this census, she indicated that she had arrived in the US in 1899.

In 1910, Hannah, age 38, was a passenger on the Rosalind, from St. John's, Newfoundland along with her children Dannie age 5, Eddie age 3, and Mary 6 months. She gave her place of birth as Ferryland and her next of kin in Newfoundland as Mrs. H. Shea, 19 Stevens St., St. John's. She declared that she and her children were joining her husband Joseph Shea, who was already in the US and living at 695 Henry St. in Brooklyn, New York. Also in her 1910 declaration, Hannah indicated she had been in the US before, in 1903. I did not find a record for that year, but another immigration record shows that she did enter the US in 1899 and was working in Bristol, CT per the 1900 Census. We know that she later returned to Newfoundland where she married Joseph Shea in 1902.

In Daniel's declaration, he stated that he was an electrician living at 459, 6th St. Brooklyn, New York with his wife, Catherine, and son, Daniel. He said that he was born in Torbay, Newfoundland on 7 Sep. 1904 and that he had moved to Brooklyn, NY on board the Rosalind on 8 Apr. 1910. Although he had filed an intent to become a US citizen on 21 Oct 1927, it appears his application was not granted until seven years later.

Daniel and his wife, Catherine, and sons Daniel, Ronald, and Lawrence were living on Greene Ave. in Brooklyn when this census was taken.

Draft:
In his declaration made on 16 Feb. 1942, Daniel indicated he was employed at Robins Drydock and Repair Co., Erie Basin, Brooklyn. He was described as being 5' 5" tall, 146 lbs. with a light complexion, brown hair, and gray eyes. He was living at 1448 Greene Ave in Brooklyn but his next of kin was Mrs. Shea at 333 3rd St., Brooklyn.
