Generation: 1
| 1. | Thomas Stratton was born , Greenspond?, Newfoundland. Notes:
Thomas Stratton is believed to have been from Greenspond, Bonavista Bay. The Church of England records for St. Stephen's church in Greenspond show two children born to a Thomas and Mary Anne Stratton in 1856 (Jane) and 1862 (Emily). Unfortunately Anglican records of that era do not give the maiden name of the mother so we cannot verify who Mary Anne was. No matching marriage record could be found for Thomas and Mary Anne in Greenspond indicating they were probably married somewhere else.
Thomas married Mary Rossiter 20 Sep 1855, Holy Apostles Parish, (Fermeuse/Renews), Newfoundland. Mary (daughter of Thomas Rossiter and Anne) was born , Caplin Bay, Newfoundland. [Group Sheet]
