John Joseph Rossiter
ROSSITER, John Joseph - Passed away suddenly at the Grace General Hospital
on March 13, 1994, age 80 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife, Catherine
(Dwyer); six daughters: Catherine Flight (Harris), Isabel Oser (Jerry);
Maureen, Paula, Mona and Mary-Lou, all residing in St. John's; two darling
granddaughters: Allison Oser and Amy Flight; step-mother Mrs. Mary Rossiter,
four brothers: Vincent (Ruth), Thomas (Josephine), William (Brenda),
Lawrence (Alice); sister Beatrice McPherson, Boston, Mass., sister-in-law
Essie Rossiter of Calvert; aunt Mary Boland, Calvert, John also leaves to
mourn a large circle of relatives and friends residing in both Newfoundland
and Ontario. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, Freshwater Road, from
2:00-5:00 PM and 7:00-10:00 PM Monday, March 14th and Tuesday, March 15th,
from 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Funeral Mass to be held on Wednesday, March 16th,
at Corpus Christi Church at 11:00 AM. Interment at St. Michael's Cemetery,
Bell Island. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or donations may be made to
the Newfoundland and Labrador Diabetic Association.
