KAVANAGH, Thomas (Sr.) - Of Calvert, age 79 years. Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center on Wednesday, April 7, 1999 in the presence of his family. Predeceased by his daughter Mary Frances; his parents Mary-Johnny and Johnny; sister Philomena; brothers: Clarence, Mart, Ambrose, France, Ernie and Peter. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Alice (O`Brien); and 14 children: Florence (Frank Dalton), Graham (Wanda), Doris (Doug Boland), Mary Alice (Ted Condon), Tom Jr. (Kelly), Carlie (special friend Pete White), Philomena (Rick French), Daphne (Wade Walsh), Bernice (Charlie Gosse), Judy (Horace Hibbs), John, Lisa, Kim and Kelly. Also remembered by sisters and brothers: Sister Collette, Angela (Jim Chidley), Catherine (Cyril Hynes), Phonse (Aggie), Paddy (Stella); and sisters-in-law: Mary, Lorraine and Margaret. Left with special memories are 32 grandchildren: Brian, Francis, Joey (Florence), Scott, Colin, Sandra, April, Graham-Francis, Mandy (Graham), Bonita, Corina, Douglas (Doris), Marsha, Laura, Megan, Erin (Mary Alice), Adam, Samantha (Tom Jr..), Jill, Gregory, Lacey (Philomena), Christopher, Jessica, Suzannah, Leon (Daphne), Michael, Nikita, Matthew (Bernice) Allison, Joshua, Luke, Morgan (Judy); also 4 great-grandchildren: Melissa (Scott), Alexander (Bonita), Kyle (Corina), William (Brian); and special neighbour Nanny Bea Boland; and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Resting peacefully at Fahey`s Funeral Home, Fermeuse. Funeral Mass from Immaculate Conception Church, Calvert at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 10th.
