Teresa Sullivan

Abt 1819 - 1899  (~ 80 years)

• Name	Teresa Sullivan
Born	Abt 1819	Trinity, Trinity Bay, Newfoundland   [1]
Teresa's Vital Statistic Death records gives her age as 85 and says she was born at Trinity. The local St. John's newspapers says she was 83 years old. A search of the baptism records for the Trinity Bay area indicates that she may have actually been several years younger. The King's Cove RC baptism records indicate that Teresa (born Trinity) & William (born Rider's Harbour), children of James Sullivan and Elinor Quin were baptised, within a few days of each other, in Apr. 1819. There is no indication that they were twins. Their parents were initially married in St. Paul's Anglican Church at Trinity in 1804. It appears that James Sullivan was from Trinity and Elinor Quin was from Rider's Harbour. No Roman Catholic marriage record was located but it is likely they married within the RC faith at the first opportunity.
