Census |
1900 |
Coeur D´ Alene Indian Reservation, Kootenai, Idaho, United States [2] |
- In this census, Garrett was recorded as being born in Jun 1859? in Newfoundland. He was living alone and working as a farm laborer, as were most of the others people who are listed, so this may not have been his permanent address. He indicated he had entered the US in 1888. Both of his parents were noted (incorrectly) as being born in Ireland, a common error which seems to have been committed by enumerators who probably recorded that answer because of the individual's accent.
