Patrick's surname spelled Aspel. Elizabeth recorded as being from Ferryland, but no address is given for Patrick. Patrick may have been living at St. John's at that time, since records indicate his brother, John, lived there.

- Holy Trinity RC Parish - Ferryland: MEANY Winifred 12-Mar 1871 [Parents] William Meany & Alice Power [Godparents] Patrick Walsh & Elizabeth Aspel. This is the last and only mention of Elizabeth Aspell in the Ferryland parish records. There are no records for any children of Patrick and Elizabeth Aspell in the Ferryland Baptisms 1870 - 1910.
