Notes	Hannah Lousia was the daughter of Charles Pittman Gent and Mary Ann (Grainger?). Charles is listed as a cooper in her marriage record. According to her grandson, Rich Johnston of Ohio, his paternal grandmother, Hannah Lousia Johnston lived at 28 Belvedere St. at the time of her death in 1912. This was the same address ocupied for a number of years by his grandfather Johnston's brother. Rich stated there is speculation that James R, who was a building contractor, may have built, owned, and rented a number of properties on Belvedere St. after the fire of 1892. Rich's maternal grandmother, Jean Mitchell, lived in the same area. (letter from Rich Johnston to Dorothy Agriesti - Oct. 5 1998) McAlpines 1904 Directory of St. John's shows William Mitchell living at 24 Belvedere St. (Kevin Reddigan) Stonepics Headstone Database: NF054 : STJ32 JOHNSTON, Hannah (1912) - 1 photo
