  • Notes  Married:
    • Witnesses were Peter Walsh and Bridget Dunphy.

    Census:
    • In the 1881 Census of Canada, only Joseph, Margaret,Catherine and James are recorded. James was born in New Brunswick so the family immigrated before 1873.
    • This census shows the same family members as the 1881 but Joseph's wife was recorded as Mary and it gave her age as 75. The enumerator may have transposed the numbers since his wife would have actually been about 57 years old. Joseph and Mary? indicated that all of their parents were born in Newfoundland.
